Mertens frames was founded in 1988 and focuses on framing for artists, photographers, galleries, museums and collectors.
Mertens frames do not depend on what the wholesaler provides: in our workshops in Amsterdam and Brussels we produce our profiles in wood, iron, aluminium and Plexiglas. All manufactured, to the need of our customer requirements.
We work with, improved corner connection techniques and frame constructions, which we develop and refine in our own atelier, to achieve the optimum quality frames. Besides these handmade quality frames we also supply simpler frames in wood and aluminium at reasonable rates. Mat board, glass, cardboard, bubble foil and framing equipment are sold separately.
